Inspiration

The real Nyx is Ron’s beloved black cat is the inspiration behind the main character of this book.
There is something wonderfully mysterious about a cat. They appear silently, watch the world with knowing eyes, and seem to understand far more than they could ever tell us. Sometimes they stare into empty space as if they can see things hidden from everyone else. They come and go on their own terms, carrying an air of quiet wisdom and ancient secrets.
Watching the real Nyx, Ron and Karen often wondered, “What amazing journey has she just returned from?” Those moments of mystery sparked an idea they shared: What if this remarkable black cat really could travel through time?
And so, Nyx the Time Traveler was born.
